The 172nd Birthday of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi was celebrated with due solemnity on Sunday, 22nd December, 2024. The auspicious day began with Mangalarati at 5:30 am, followed by Vedic chanting and hymns by the Sadhus and Brahmacharins. Special worship, Havan and Chandi Recital were conducted in the main temple in which many Sadhus, Devotees and staff participated and received blessings of the Holy Mother.
From 9.30 am onwards, patients admitted in our Charitable Hospital, were ceremoniously worshipped as ‘Rogi Narayana' with the offerings of sandal paste, garlands, fruits, sweets and Arati in the presence of sadhus, devotees, doctors, nurses and others.
As part of ’Nara-Narayana Seva' or service to poor, 2,300 poor and aged widow mothers of Vrindavan were served noon Prasad sumptuously. Among them, 1,800 received a gift packet consisting of a Blanket, a Saree, Mustard Oil bottle, two Soaps and a pair of Socks. A large number of devotees, local people, students of Swami Vivekananda Bal Vikas Kendra, nurses of our Hospital, patients, volunteers from Mathura Refinery and Gurukul Viswavidyalaya, staff and their family members - in all about 1,500 people, who had gathered for the occasion also received noon Prasad in Annapurna Dham.
Ma Sarada Kutir (Kala Babu Kunj), the memorial in Vrindavan sanctified by the stay of the Holy Mother, was beautifully decorated on this day. A number of devotees visited the memorial and offered their prayers to the Holy Mother.
