Obstetrics & Gynaecology is the medical specialty which deals with female reproductive health. As the name suggests, it includes two sub-specialties - Obstetrics and Gynaecology - which focus on different aspects of the female reproductive system. Obstetrics specifically deals with medical care during pregnancy as well as pre and post pregnancy periods. Obstetricians also deliver babies. On the other hand, Gynaecology is the sub-specialty which deals with general reproductive health and diseases in women.
