The Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at RKMS, Vrindavan provides critical care for medical patients who need round-the-clock monitoring and treatment. In this Unit, a team of specialist doctors, specially trained nurses and other healthcare professionals provide quality care to the patient. This 11-bedded unit is equipped with state of the art critical care infrastructure.
General or Laparoscopic operations performed here include – Open Gallbladder, Hernia, Appendix, TURP & Open Prostate, Ureteric & Kidney stone removal, Hypospadias apart from Surgeries in Gynaec & Obstetrics, Paediatric, Orthopaedic, Cancer, Neuro, ENT, Ophthalmic, Plastic & Cosmetic and Hydrocele, Piles, Fistula & Fissure, Different kinds of Excisions, I&D, D&Cs and D&Es. Other than this, various sorts of orthopaedic surgeries including Joint Replacements Surgeries, Cancer Surgeries with Chemotherapy, Neuro Surgeries like Spinal and Brain Surgeries are also performed regularly.

The Modular OT Complex for surgical oncology functions six days a week. A total of 4,376 surgeries were performed during the year 2020-21, which includes 592 eye surgeries performed through advanced methods like PHACO, IOL or Yag Lazer.
